A more considered approach

Financial decisions deserve a wider perspective.

The right question is rarely “which product is best”. It is “which category fits this goal, at this point in life, with this much time and this much comfort with risk”.

Goals change with life stage — a first salary, a family, a business, a retirement date. Time horizon, responsibilities and risk tolerance change with them. Our role is to help you see the categories that are worth considering, understand the questions each one raises, and decide with realistic expectations.

Featured category

Built for every goal. Backed by research.

A mutual fund pools money from many investors. A registered fund manager invests that pool against a stated objective — growth, income, or a mix — and investors hold units of the fund.

The two decisions that matter are the objective and the risk level you are genuinely comfortable with. Both are stated in the scheme documents, and both should be read before you invest.

An advisor discussing diversified mutual fund options with investors.
What you own
Units of a scheme, not the company’s shares directly.
What drives the outcome
The scheme’s asset allocation, its risk level, its costs and the markets it invests in.
What you should read
The scheme information document, the key information summary and the addendum for facts on costs, risk and exit.
Protection first

Insurance for life, health and everything you own.

Insurance is protection, not investment. A policy pays on a defined event — it does not grow wealth by itself. Cover, exclusions and claim terms always follow the policy wording.

Life

Life Insurance

Life insurance provides financial protection for your loved ones when they need it most. It can help ensure that your family has financial support to manage everyday expenses, outstanding liabilities, education costs, and long-term financial goals in your absence.

Ask about life cover

Health

Health Insurance

Health insurance helps protect you and your family from the financial impact of medical expenses. With suitable health coverage, you can focus on your health and recovery while your policy provides financial support for eligible hospitalization and healthcare costs, subject to the policy terms.

Ask about health cover

General

General Insurance

Protect yourself, your family, and your valuable assets against unexpected financial losses with flexible general insurance solutions. General insurance provides coverage for a wide range of everyday risks, helping you manage unforeseen expenses with greater confidence.

Ask about general cover

Read the wording first

Sum insured, waiting periods, exclusions, premiums and the claim process differ by insurer and plan. Confirm what is currently offered through IKV Finservices and read the policy documents in full before you decide.

Specialist categories

Managed mandates and private-market funds, in plain terms.

These three are not ordinary retail products. Eligibility, minimum investment, lock-in periods, liquidity and fees vary by scheme and by current regulation.

PMS

Portfolio Management Services

A manager invests your capital directly in securities according to a mandate agreed with you. Minimum investments are higher than mutual funds, reporting is more detailed, and the relationship between you and the manager is direct rather than pooled.

Consider: governance structure, who holds your securities, fee structure, and real portfolio history.

Explore PMS

AIF

Alternative Investment Funds

Private-market funds investing in categories that are not easily available on the exchange — real estate, private credit, infrastructure and venture. Returns depend on how those assets perform and on when capital can be returned to you.

Consider: minimum ticket, lock-in period, valuation approach and the manager’s track record in the specific strategy.

Explore AIFs

SIF

Specialised Investment Funds

Funds with a wider investment mandate than a conventional scheme, permitted to use strategies such as short selling and derivatives within stated limits, and to invest across market capitalisations.

Consider: the investment approach in writing, the extent of leverage permitted, and how the fund reports risk.

Explore SIFs

Our role, stated clearly

IKV Finservices helps you understand these categories and coordinates the next steps within the role it is authorised to perform. We do not manage, underwrite or guarantee any product, and we do not present return forecasts for any of them.

Income and stability

Where the return comes from matters as much as the return itself.

In a bond you are the lender. The yield depends on the borrower’s credit, the time you are committed for, and what interest rates do while you wait.

Government securitiesBacked by the sovereign; price still moves with rates.
Corporate bondsHigher yield; the issuer’s credit risk is yours to accept.
NCDs and private placementsOften fixed coupon; liquidity may be limited.

Bars are illustrative only and represent relative perceived risk, not a measure of return.

The issuer may not pay interest or repay principal on time, or at all.

Monthly investment contributions building steadily over time.
Discipline by design

Build a habit around the goals that matter.

A Systematic Investment Plan invests a fixed amount, into a fixed scheme, on a fixed date. The value of the method is behavioural: it removes the monthly decision about whether to invest at all.

Over long periods, regular investing means you buy at different prices rather than timing the market. That is a process, not a prediction — the money can still fall in value, and short periods carry real risk of loss.

Monthly

One scheduled amount, set once

Horizon

The years you stay invested matter more than the entry point

Review

Savings and income-oriented options

Postal savings: long tenures, government administration.

These schemes are administered by government and postal institutions. They are designed for long-term saving and have specific rules about who can open an account and for how long.

IKV Finservices does not operate these schemes. We help you understand how they work, compare their characteristics with other options, and complete the necessary formalities where applicable.

Global and alternative opportunities

Broader exposure carries broader rules.

GIFT City — India’s International Financial Sector Centre — and international markets give access to products domiciled outside India. Access depends on your residency status, and the consequences depend on laws you may not be familiar with.

  • Currency risk. Returns made in another currency may lose value in rupee terms.
  • Jurisdiction and regulation. Investor protection follows the law of that place.
  • Taxation. Indian tax treatment of foreign income and repatriation has specific conditions.
  • Liquidity and access. Exit routes, notice periods and product availability vary.
A modern residential building representing fractional property ownership.

Fractional real estate

Ownership of part of a property asset, through a smaller ticket. Availability depends on the specific offering, its legal structure and who operates it. Liquidity is limited, and it is not a low-risk or guaranteed-return product. Ask us what is currently on offer and read the offering documents in full.

Discuss fractional real estate
Credit and borrowing

When borrowing serves a purpose — and when it does not.

A loan can be useful for a home, a working-capital gap or an asset purchase. The cost of a loan is the interest plus the fees, and it is certain; the return that justifies it is not.

  • Home loans

A secured loan against the property.

The property is the security, so the lender’s recovery on default is strong. That makes tenure and interest rate the main levers, along with the cost of choosing between a fixed and floating rate.

  • Business loans

Term loans and working capital for a business.

Assessed on turnover, cash flow and the viability of the business, not on the owner’s salary alone. Structure and repayment schedule should match how the business actually earns.

  • Personal loans

    Unsecured borrowing for personal needs.

Unsecured, so pricing is higher and approval depends on income and credit history. Rarely the cheapest way to fund a need, and worth comparing against delaying the purchase or borrowing against an asset.

  • Loans against property

Borrowing secured on an asset you already own.

The existing property provides security, which usually means a lower rate than an unsecured loan. The risk is concentration: one property underpins both the asset and the debt.

No approval, rate, tenure or disbursal timeline is promised here. Terms are set by the lender and depend on your circumstances and their assessment.

Why IKV Finservices

A clearer way to explore financial decisions.

01

Simple Access

All investments in one place, so a single conversation can cover the whole picture instead of a fragment of it.

02

Informed Decisions

Curated options with trusted insights and the trade-offs spelled out, so the choice is genuinely yours.

03

Better Diversification

Spreading across asset classes and strategies so that no single outcome defines the result.

Stay invested. Stay ahead. Horizons measured in years, not in market movements.

    Plan

Explore the categories that fit, and explain the trade-offs between them in writing.

  4. 04

    Implement

Help you work through the agreed next steps within the role IKV Finservices is authorised to perform.

  5. 05

    Review

Planning tools

Work out the numbers before the conversation.

Ten calculators that run entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent to us or stored anywhere, and every result shows the assumptions behind it.

A calculator tells you what the arithmetic implies for the inputs you gave. It does not know your circumstances and it does not predict returns — treat the output as a starting point for a discussion.
